"Deme ranchu" (ranchu with protruding eyes) - It was first brought from China six or seven years ago, has a globular body and, like the ranchu, no dorsal fin. The eyes not only protrude, but also are turned upward 90 degrees.
Note: This variety is called Tyotengan or Celestial Eye in these days.
